Dufferin County Improves Surface, Drainage on County Road 124

Several kilometers of a road in Dufferin County have been rehabilitated thanks to investments from the Canada Community-Building Fund.

The County invested more than $175,000 into rehabilitating a 6.4 km section of County Road 124. This is a phased project, with work continuing later this year. The road surface had developed several cracks and potholes, and several culverts needed to be replaced.

County crews repaved the road surface and widened ditches to improve drainage and manage stormwater runoff. Public Works also waterproofed multiple culverts to improve longevity and installed guide rails.
