Val Rita-Harty Upgrades Manholes, Fixing Drainage Issue and Protecting Their Roads

To fix drainage problems, the Township of Val Rita-Harty rehabilitated manholes on Ave Des Aulnes and Ave De la Coupe, using funding from the CCBF.

Water had been pooling on both streets, especially around manholes, which pointed to a drainage issue. Unresolved drainage problems can damage the road and cause disruptions.

Public Works investigated and discovered issues with the manhole covers and channels (the pipe that connects the road and the sewer system). 

Crews upgraded  them, and now rainwater and melted snow drains properly. CCBF funding has helped protect the roads for the future.
