The 2022 CCBF Annual Report is Here!

Every year, municipalities across Ontario invest the Canada Community-Building Fund into priority infrastructure projects that have a tangible, local impact within their communities. 

Municipal staff report these investments to AMO throughout the year, and communicate the benefits of the CCBF through their own local events and communications activities, and through project profiles featured on the Building Communities website and social media accounts. 

One of the ways AMO ensures that Ontarians have access to information about the Fund is through the publication of an annual report. The report highlights projects, provides Fund updates, and shares how the Fund is helping to achieve national objectives and benefit Ontario’s communities. The annual report is distributed to elected officials across the province, who then share it with their councils and constituents. 

In 2022, Ontario’s municipalities invested $788 million in 2,150 projects – all of which were supported through investments from the CCBF. Since 2005, nearly $9.3 billion has been invested into 12,700 infrastructure projects.
