The 2023 CCBF Annual Report is Here!

The Canada Community-Building Fund continues to support important local infrastructure projects in municipalities across Ontario, year after year. 

These projects are reported to AMO by municipal staff, and the benefits are promoted through local events and communication activities from municipalities as well as profile featured on the Building Communities website and social media accounts. 

The CCBF annual report is another way that AMO provides access to information about the Fund. Included in the report are highlights of projects, updates about the fund, and examples of how the fund helps achieve national objectives and positively impacts communities in Ontario. The report is distributed to Ontario elected officials who distribute it to their councils and constituents. 

In 2023, Ontario’s municipalities invested $808 million in 2,318 projects – all of which were supported through investments from the CCBF. Since 2005, more than $10 billion has been invested into 13,500 infrastructure projects. 

In the 2023 report, more than 18 great projects are showcased, along with statistics that highlight the impact of the Fund province wide.
