Brampton invests in transit expansion
Brampton is home to one of the fastest growing transit systems in Canada. Residents complete over two million trips each month – up from one million a decade ago – and ridership just keeps on growing.
Brampton is investing CCBF funds in public transit to help meet this demand – and is cutting greenhouse gas emissions, improving access to jobs and local businesses, and connecting the community in the process.
Federal funding has helped build the Brampton Transit Sandalwood Facility, add new buses to the fleet and improve transit terminals.
