CCBF Funds Road Improvements in Northumberland County

Work has been completed on a CCBF funded road project in Northumberland County. Northumberland invested $3.1 million from the Fund into rehabilitating County Roads 15 and 41.

Work included repaving the road, including the driveway entrances and shoulders, improving the driving experience for all travelers and extending the useful life of both roads. They also widened the road by 1.5 meters. This extra space, along with the new guiderails the County installed, contributes to overall driver safety.

The County also replaced the four culverts that run under County Road 15, and the eight culverts under County Road 41 to help with drainage and keep water run-off away from the road.
