Faraday Township Wraps Up Airport Road Project

Faraday Township has completed a $580,000 road improvement project, partially funded by the Canada Community-Building Fund.

The Township spent five months reconstructing Airport Road – a busy throughway in the rural Township. Faraday is home to around 1600 full-time residents, but also welcomes seasonal residents and cottagers throughout the summer.

Reconstruction of the road included tree removal, ditching, installation of a new culvert, gravel and asphalt resurfacing.

Faraday’s project is just one of hundreds of local roads, bridges and culverts projects funded by the CCBF each year. Check out these other CCBF investments in Warwick Township and Trent Lakes
