New Walkway is a Hit in Trent Lakes

Residents and visitors to Buckhorn can now walk the entire length of the hamlet thanks to support from the Canada Community-Building Fund.

The Municipality of Trent Lakes invested the Canada Community-Building Fund in the construction of an accessible walkway in Buckhorn, running from the public school all the way to the local tourist information building. The walkway will make it easier to access local amenities such as the library, park, beach, restaurants, and of course the Trent Severn.

It has encouraged more people to enjoy gentle exercise by providing a safe and accessible walking route through the area.
