Splashing Around in Halton Hills

Cooling off during the summer months in the Town of Halton Hills will be easier this year. The municipality recently invested the Canada Community-Building Fund into upgrades at one of the community’s three splash pad locations. 

In early 2022, Halton Hills revitalized its Dominion Gardens splash pad. The scope of work at this location included removal of the old concrete pad and sub base and installation of a new one, as well as improvements to the underground piping system. Additionally, the municipality added new shade features to the splash pad to help protect visitors from the sun. 

The park opened mid-summer last year, just in time to give everyone a chance to use the updated splash pad for the second half of the season. This year the splash pad will open on Victoria Day weekend.
