Two-Phase Road Reconstruction Project Completed in Thorold

The City of Thorold just wrapped up the second and final phase of an extensive road reconstruction project on a busy residential street.

Broderick Avenue Road between Westmount Avenue and Collier Road North was fully reconstructed, including replacement of the existing storm sewer and roadway, addition of new sidewalks and improvements to street lighting.

This project was made possible by more than $1.3 million in CCBF funding divided between phase one and two. Additionally, the project was completed a year ahead of schedule.

The Broderick Road Reconstruction Project supports a major goal of the City of Thorold’s Strategic Plan: To build and sustain infrastructure that generates civic pride.
