Visitor Numbers Double at New Oak Ridges Library
The City of Richmond Hill’s new Oak Ridges Library got off to a flying start when 13,000 people visited the facility in the first month after it opened.
That’s more than double the number of people who used the old library in the same period the year before.
The City’s Richmond Hill Library Board invested CCBF funds in the state-of-the-art building. The two-storey, 19,000 sq. ft. facility is a civic landmark that reflects the natural elements and local history of the community, and its design is inspired by its surroundings.
Oak Ridges Library was built in response to the changing needs of Richmond Hill’s growing community.
