Eligible Projects

Projects eligible for Canada Community-Building funding under this category are those that result in the construction, material enhancement or renewal of infrastructure that supports drinking water conservation, collection, treatment and distribution systems.

Examples

Eligible projects under this category include (but are not limited to):

• Replacing watermains and service pipes;
• Upgrading or improving water treatment plants;
• Installing smart water meters; and
• Building water towers and standpipes.
