Eligible Projects

Projects eligible for Canada Community-Building funding under this category are those that result in the construction, material enhancement or renewal of railway-related infrastructure for the movement of cargo or passengers.

Examples

Eligible projects under this category include (but are not limited to):

• Designing and constructing a cargo loading and unloading facility;
• Renovating a passenger station or terminal;
• Installing tracks and switches; and
• Purchasing rail cars and locomotives.
