Eligible Projects

Projects eligible for Canada Community-Building funding under this category are those that result in the construction, material enhancement or renewal of airport-related infrastructure (excluding infrastructure in the National Airports System).

Examples

Eligible projects under this category include (but are not limited to):

• Designing and constructing an aircraft hangar or shed;
• Installing navigational aids and runway lighting;
• Resurfacing runways, taxiways, aprons and ramps; and
• Replacing or upgrading airport drainage works.
